Guillaume is an avid Country music enthusiast born in the West of France. We met him in Paris. He prides himself on having an excellent vinyl record collection, and enjoys listening to Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, and Townes Van Zandt. He plans on making a Country music pilgrimage trip to visit Memphis, Nashville, and New Orleans in the near future. He asked me about the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, and was very interested in the history of the legendary venue. He received his degree in Tourism Studies, and currently works in the travel agency business. He explained to us that his tourism degree largely revolved around geographical and historical studies, much more in depth than just leading a group of tourists with cameras. On a side note, for being such an avid Country music enthusiast, we were surprised that neither he or any of his friends that night had ever heard of Garth Brooks! It’s the little details that are the most memorable….
Musically,
