Ondine is a former French fashion model turned avid surfer! We met in Paris at a late-night picnic. She had her suitcase with her, ready to take the 7-hour car journey to the South of France in the morning to catch some waves. “I fall many times,” she says, “but I don’t care because I get right up and I’m having so much fun!” Ondine is a part of a Parisian surfing group that was started on FaceBook. There are about 700 members, so it has created quite the social circle for her. Upon meeting, she was unsure of how her English would translate to us, but I assured her that her English was exceptionally better than my pitiful French!
