We met Blaise at a housewarming/Bastille Day party in Angers, France. He is a native Frenchman who sells antiques for a living. He is an avid wine drinker, however, only sticks to the wines that are produced from the Loire Valley (the famed wine-producing region where Angers is located). “This wine is ALL NATURAL!” he proudly exclaimed throughout the night. He told us that the wines from the Loire Valley are “much better” than the wines produced in Bordeaux simply because the people of the Loire Valley are much friendlier. Blaise is also a fantastic dancer, we discovered, as the night went on (and bottles of wine emptied!).
