Nizar gave us a ride from Angers, to Bordeaux, France. It was our first ever experience with “BlaBla Car”, a ride sharing service that is extremely popular in many areas throughout Europe. Nizar just recently finished his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and is currently a professor at the University of Angers. He has spent the past several years working on a project that involves writing code for the automation of components on “Airbus” airplanes to improve stability and safety. He jokingly told us how competitive this type of work is between aircraft manufactures such as Boeing and Airbus. When he received his Master’s degree, he explained to me that he had the option to jump right into the professional environment and make great money, but he was very passionate about teaching for a few years beforehand to differentiate himself from the competition, and to continue to grow as an engineer. He plans on visiting the U.S. this fall, but can’t decide whether he wants to visit the East coast so that he can visit MIT, or the West Coast so that he can visit the Grand Canyon, and Yellowstone. Thanks for the lift, Nizar! Safe travels!
Musically,
