This is Lea. She has been working at Soutard Winery in Saint-Emilion, France for the past few months. She hosts wine tastings, leads wine tours, and helps run the on-site wine shop as well. Her knowledge of the Saint-Emilion wine region was quite impressive, considering the short amount of time she’d been working at the winery! She recently moved to Saint-Emilion from a small village of France just north of the region, where she was born and raised. During our wine tasting, Lea and her co-worker were sweet enough to surprise me with a plate full of cheese and charcuterie, complete with candle (that wouldn’t light after our nine attemps) for my 30th birthday! Now, we all know the way to my heart is through a platter full of cheese…so bravo Lea, bravo!
