It was total coincidence (not to mention a great surprise), when we found out that our paths would cross with some of our dearest friends while traveling abroad. We met Kris, Emily, and Matt in Ibiza, Spain once we figured out we would be in Barcelona during the same time that they would be just off the coast. What was initially planned to be a 5-6 day visit with friends, turned into a twelve day stay that we will always remember. It was so nice to see some familiar faces, that we didn’t want to leave! Kris and Emily are a couple from Medford, MA. Kris tour manages his younger brother Matt, and is also the owner of his new drum company called Big Fat Snare Drum. Emily is a successful accountant, and also helps Kris run his new entrepreneurial start-up. Matt is a successful musician/songwriter/producer that has so many things happening at any given moment, that it would be impossible to list them all in this short blog. When we met in Ibiza, Matt was performing several DJ sets at some of the largest venues on the Island (hence why they were in Ibiza). Anyhow, we can’t thank them enough for letting us crash their house, and giving us the chance to spend some time with good friends. It was a great way to break up our “backpacking” routine, and really made our trip even more memorable.
