David and Rachel were a fantastic couple we stayed with in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. We actually attended high school with Rachel in Las Vegas and she was kind enough to reach out to us during our travels and invited us to stay with her and her husband in Palma. A beautiful apartment on a Spanish island with a familiar face? We couldn’t resist! It has been 12 years since we had seen each other and Rachel’s tenacious positivity still radiates! She and her husband teach English at local schools in Palma and live on a picturesque old street straight out of the movies. David is fluent in Spanish and was a fantastic help in maneuvering our way through the city. He’s a ferocious reader and introduced us to a number of fantastic authors with quirky storylines. Rachel enjoys working on creative projects that allow her imagination to thrive. Together, they have lived in three different Spanish cities including Madrid, as well as Portland, Oregon and Provo, Utah. We can’t thank David and Rachel enough for their incredible hospitality and great conversations!
