Cha Cha and Guiseppe are a warm, welcoming couple who have a wonderfully romantic story of how they met. Cha Cha is from Seoul, South Korea and was on a solo-Italian-backpacking expedition when she contacted Guiseppe, a native of Palermo, Sicily, at the hostel he ran in Palermo. She was calling to check in late due to her delayed flight and Guiseppe was annoyed. He was tired due to a long day of hosting 18 to 20 year-old travelers and wanted to sleep. Fast forward two days later, Cha Cha and Guiseppe found themselves at an empty church square after dinner and drinks; dancing, laughing and falling in love. Fast forward another 365 days later, Cha Cha has quit her job of 10 years as a Software Engineer in Seoul, to move to Palermo, Sicily, to open a new hostel with her live-in love, Guiseppe! Although their cultural backgrounds differ greatly and it took some great convincing of her family, Cha Cha and Guiseppe are the happiest they’ve ever been. They are the proud owners of Vespa B&B and have enjoyed every minute of meeting new people and watching their love grow through living out their dreams together. They were a beautiful reminder of willpower and fighting for what you want in life. It’s never easy, but so worth it in the end!
Cheers,
SA
