Diego is a Columbian Software Engineer who has called Europe home for the past 10 years. He completed his Master’s Degree in Holland, then accepted a job with IBM in Switzerland eight years ago. He is pursuing his PhD in Software Security and will earn his Doctorates at the end of this year. “Titles are a big deal in Switzerland,” he told us. Diego was born in Bogota, Columbia. He moved in with a host family on the northern island of New Zealand his last year of high school to learn English. He then returned to Bogota to earn his Bachelor Degree, then made the big move to Holland on a full-ride scholarship. He loves the lifestyle of Switzerland and its serene beauty. His Golden Retriever, Sydney, seems to agree with it too.
