Anne and Erik have been together for 10 years. They met in a bar one night in Norway (their Motherland), and have been together ever since. They were on their 2-week holiday in Phuket, celebrating her 40th and his 50th birthday. They were an absolute blast to share conversation with, sipping mojitos, and enjoying the insanity of Thailand’s nightlife. Anne is a nurse. She has worked in an array of different departments within the medical field, including a mental hospital. Erik is an EMT and an avid seeker for adventure. He shared a story of when he was 18 years old and set out on a solo backpacking trip throughout Europe. As luck would have it, one night in Greece, he was randomly invited by the captain of a ship to join his voyage to India. It was an offer Erik could not refuse! Erik has since converted Anne into an avid traveler herself. As of 10 years ago, she had never ventured outside of Norway. It was refreshing to see two people so in love and the ways they both changed each other’s life for the better.  “He has literally shown me a whole new world!” she said.
