Josie was born in a small village just outside of Amsterdam. We stayed with her for two nights aboard the “Waterland” canal boat, where she welcomes a few guests throuought the year. She is a lovely cook, and was nice enough to prepare us breakfast each morning. She explained to us that most Dutch consider Amsterdam to be its own country, simply because it is so progressive in its political and social way of thinking. She enjoys living a simple life, and looks forward to setting sail next week and traveling either North or South of Amsterdam. She’s not exactly sure where she is traveling to, but will make that decision the day she leaves!
Musically,
