Julie was such a joy to meet! She welcomed us into her adorable Angers apartment and let us crash on her bed for five whole nights! Julie is originally from Houston, Texas. When she was 18 years old, she moved to Nashville, TN to attend Belmont University and also to be closer to her brother, Justin. She majored in French and eventually made her way out to Angers where she has been living for the past eight months on a three year Visa. Now fluent in the French language, Julie has made a great network for herself and has embarked on a number of endeavors that have included working in a bakery (she makes amazing crepes!) and embarking on a series of musical projects with her friend, Nico. On our first night in Angers, Julie invited us to her friend’s Bastille Day party where we were able to see her perform live! Her melodic sound and beautiful voice are only a fraction of the talents this girl has! We have to give a shout out to her brother, Justin, for connecting us! I can now say I have a friend in Angers, France.
