Sheila and her husband, along with her son and daughter-in-law, are on a 10-day cruise around France. They currently live in Ohio. We met at a Farmer’s Market along the river in Bordeaux. We struck up conversation after I heard her commenting on how many breeds of terrier dogs were in France (we had noticed the same thing!). Sheila and her husband were also planning a trip out to Nashville in September, so Marcus and I gave her the low-down on all the awesome restaurants to feast at as well as some local hot spots to hit. Coincidentally, a few days later, Sheila spotted us in Saint-Emilion (a wine-growing region 45 minutes outside Bordeaux) while we were wandering the streets!! She had such an infectious personality and was a pleasure to meet!
